Let's rewind to about four and a half years ago: or shall we say, where it all began! Shelby was the first to "Slide into the DM's" and attempt a date. But as fate would have it, it was not yet their time. Zane then came to his senses a few months later and they finally made it out of the Instagram DM's to real life and embarked on this journey that would bring us to where we are today. Some might say they had an instant spark and connection. Others (being Zane) would say, "We hung out a few times and she hasn't left me since."

One thing that has stayed constant in their lives since the beginning is both their love of adventure. From the beautiful views of Utah to the lush green foliage of Hot Springs, Arkansas, they enjoy it all. But most importantly, their favorite vacation and the location of their engagement; Lake Powell. This has always been a family tradition of Shelby's, that she now gets to share with Zane for the rest of their lives together.

Their first real challenge was of course the joining of their two dogs in the same home. Zane and Tito lived a life of lavish in their very own bachelor pad prior to Shelby. Calm, collected, and mindful is how we would describe those two together. Now if you know anything about Shelby and her trusted pitbull mutt Sonny, you know those adjectives may not be entirely mirrored for them. Wild, loud, hyper and the center of attention might be a better way to describe the pair. But what can we say? Opposites attract, so Tito and Sonny became best friends and the first initial start to their growing family

Now we know their relationship hasn't just been about the four of them over the last few years. They welcomed their beautiful baby girl Ryder Mae Davidson in May of 2022, and she added a light to their lives they have never known. Being parents together has brought them hurdles and challenges some couples don't face before marriage and because of that, they are going into this union ten times stronger. They have instilled their love for the lake and outdoor adventures into their daughter and it has resulted in many core memories they take into this next chapter in life.  

Shelby and Zane are very excited to embark on their most exciting adventure to date, marriage! They cannot wait to have you all witness this very special union. So, see you all on January 25th, 2025 with your party hats on and your dancing shoes shined!
